Love Eyewear Week

100% Optical, the UK’s largest and funkiest Optical trade show is running a ‘Love Eyewear Week’ campaign from 20 – 26 January 2020.

What's it about?

Kicking-off the countdown to the show which takes place in London on 25 - 27 January at ExCel, Love Eyewear Week will generate public awareness around the hottest eyewear trends and designs. It will capture the imagination of the public through engaging content, highlighting everything from unique materials used to the back story behind the brand. Seeking out and buying new eyewear has never been so exciting!

Throughout the week optical practices will be encouraged to run offers and promotions on the eyewear they stock in a similar manner to the successful ‘Black Friday’ campaign that runs annually across retail. 100% Optical and their PR agency will promote these offers and varied content across all marketing channels from August 2019 through to 26th January 2020 via National press coverage, email campaigns, social media, printed and online activities.

Share selfies of you wearing your favourite eyewear on social media using #LoveEyewearWeek. A celebratory wall of the best selfies will be displayed at 100% Optical

Post pictures of your practice window displays via the campaign hashtag #LoveEyewearWeek with prizes for the best designs awarded on 26th January

Share a #LoveEyewearWeek banner which can be downloaded from 100percentoptical on your website, across social media, as an email signature

Put up a #LoveEyewearWeek poster up in your practice in view of the public

An abundance of brand new content will be available via the 100percentoptical website during the week, including educational blogs about ‘a day in the life of an optician’, eyewear style tips and consumer behavioural insights. There will also be a round-up of the latest eyewear designs and news from established brands and up-and-coming eyewear designers about unique designs and materials.
